nounce three prominent restaurant operators

Together with their team from Carlton Zürich AG, Zurich restaurateur couple Markus and Daniela Segmüller have designed a French-themed establishment especially for THE CIRCLE. Going by the name of Sablier and spread over some 1,500 square metres right in the heart of THE CIRCLE, this spacious restaurant will include terraces and enjoy views out over the rooftops to the adjacent park. It will be divided into various different zones: along with the restaurant area including a salon and private dining room, it will also incorporate a large bar and lounge. The couple are well known in Zurich gastronomic circles as founders of the “Segmüller Collection” featuring their original Carlton restaurant along with trendy bistros such as Loft Five and historical eateries like the James Joyce pub and Adlisberg.

The Two Spice restaurant group (who operate Bohemia, JACK&JO, and Rice Up! among others) are also set to expand their successful sushi concept Yooji’s into THE CIRCLE. Across 300 m2 on two floors, this well-known brand will run a “take & stay”-style eatery complete with large sushi conveyor belt. The healthy and sustainable range of dishes on offer will include super-fresh sushi creations, poke salads, miso and noodle soups, together with various desserts and snacks.

Essenszeit GmbH will be the tenant for the 250 m2 café on the main square. Its Leon Coffee & Grill will offer fresh regional dishes to passengers, visitors and airport employees from early to late in a convivial atmosphere. The menu will feature coffee plus creative breakfasts and cheesecake variations, gourmet burgers and salads, along with a range of snacks and drinks.

Wining and dining in THE CIRCLE

The wide range of wining and dining available in THE CIRCLE will complement the food & beverage offering at Zurich Airport with high-quality establishments plus new outdoor options. THE CIRCLE offers space for ten restaurant units in addition to two restaurants in the Hyatt hotels. The culinary offering ranges from fine dining to cafés and bars, take-away outlets and special concepts such as the Caviar House & Prunier seafood bar. The first stage of the tendering process is now complete and a second phase has just been launched.
